Ken Jacobs: ” With experience comes respect and with respect comes trust”

I met Ken in 2013 during a Luxury Real Estate Symposium which was held in Valencia. Since then, as our markets are located on the opposite side of the Earth, I try to keep up with him and his company on the Internet or just periodically exchanging some emails with him! As you will read below, Ken and his team are able to sell properties worldwide starting from his Sidney office and they are an example of trust, advice and service. Please enjoy this interview and if you want to know more about Ken Jacobs’ company see their website www.kenjacobs.com.au.

Ken Jacobs_1Can you explain a little about your company and your market?

We are a boutique agency specialising in the top end of the residential market. Although based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney we have no geographic boundaries and simply focus on the top end of various markets and specific client requirements. Apart from establishing many Australian price records we have also sold significant properties in locations as diverse as Singapore, Fiji and Barcelona.

From your point of view, what are the benefits of belonging to associations like Luxury Real Estate?

A fundamental benefit of belonging to such a group is the International perspective and reach offered. However, of particular significance to me are the contacts made with fellow members who are at the top of their field and the information sharing which flows from these personal contacts.

We think your offer a very exclusive service and advice to your clients, what makes you service different from your competitors?

In essence, my business offers a bespoke advisory service predicated on quality of advice with a core belief that with experience comes respect and with respect comes trust.

Equally, we only deal in the top end of any market to the exclusion of the rest. Whilst missing out on the mainstream market, this approach does give us a unique insight into the thinking and motivation of high net worth international buyers and sellers.

Do you know Barcelona? What do you think people like about the city?

I was fortunate enough to spend some time in Barcelona only last year. It is a city of great and diverse appeal. The people are friendly, the architecture beautiful and a location and climate that adds to the charm of the city.
