Residential Barcelona

Like all large cities, Barcelona has a substantial residential area. Cities such as Sant Cugat del Vallès and Sant Just Desvern are less than 30 minutes from Plaça de Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia, two of the most central zones in the city of Barcelona.
These two towns have a recognised international prestige for the quality of their services and housing, their good communication with the city of Barcelona, and for being cosmopolitan, modern and welcoming.

Sant Cugat del Vallès is a magnificent city of 83,000 inhabitants, bounded on one side by the hills of Collserola park and on the other by the plains of the Vallès zone. Sant Cugat is a prestigious city, one with the highest birth-rate in Spain, a historic centre lying around its 9th-century Monastery and made up of a network of pedestrianised shopping streets in which life can really be sensed. There is a lifestyle enjoyed and staunchly defended at all times by all who live there.
Sant Cugat del Vallès has extensive areas of high-class, luxury houses in privileged settings, such as those in the Can Majo, Can Trabal, Golf, Turó del Pinyer, Eixampla and Arxiu areas. The city has all kinds of facilities, ranging from sports facilities (notable among which are its golf course inaugurated 100 years ago), football grounds, basketball courts, trekking routes and associations, etc. There are also cultural facilities, notably the Casa de Cultura and the Teatre-Auditori (in which theatre and concert cycles are held, along with cinema). Finally, in relation to education, the city has very good schools, some of them international; the private Japanese Cultural Foundation, the Hatikva school, the Viaró, and the Europa, Thau, Sil, Proa and La Farga schools are examples of the facilities on offer.

Lastly, Sant Cugat is a green and sustainable city, with very large parks, zones for cycling, running, mountain biking, etc.

Sant Just Desvern is a town and city just seven minutes away from Barcelona centre. It is an eminently residential town of 25,000 inhabitants, to which are added the residential zones of other nearby towns. Its centre still retains the flavour of towns from the beginning of the 20th century. It has all kinds of services and facilities, ranging from international schools (the Deutsche School and the American School of Barcelona), to prestigious schools such as Institució La Miranda, Escola Garbí, Escola Isabel de Villena, as well as quality state schools.
Sant Just also has several sports facilities such as Can Melich, two riding schools, tennis coaching schools, and most particularly the facilities of Futbol Club Barcelona. The entire area is characterised by being in contact with green zones such as Collserola park, considered to be a prolongation of the town’s own green zones. Here, one can engage in all types of sports related with nature without the need for any vehicle, enjoying the woods and magnificent views over the city of Barcelona.
The most widely recognised areas in which we can find the best Luxury homes are the Ciutat Diagonal, Bellsoleig and Sagrat Cor areas. These are residential districts in which peace and quiet and good neighbourly relations are much-appreciated values, while we should also stress how safe they are.
