A more than enriching congress of FIABCI

It has been busy days with FIABCI these last few weeks. From May 23 to 28, Andorra hosted the 68th FIABCI World Congress. A Congress of which we have to highlight several things.

On the one hand, the excellent organization carried out by FIABCI Andorra. Usually every year, we attend several congresses and Andorra greatly stands out for its excellence in care and service. It should not be easy to move people from all over the world to Andorra, and less so when the nearest airport is practically two hours by car.

On the other hand, highlight the attendance at the congress. There were representatives from 42 different countries from all areas related to the real estate sector. FIABCI is a large family, and in these congresses this fact is very much noted. People find and share experiences with very different visions, but with common denominator: the real estate sector.

Also highlight the level of some of the conferences of the congress. Normally, when congresses are long, there are always things that you like more and others you do not like so much. From my point of view, conferences like the one of Tony Morris (Be a world class property negotiator and ACHIEVE the fees you deserve), the one of Montserrat Peñarroya (Smart cities, Smart homes, the internet of things …) and Aamer Azeem (Role of Smart Cities in Shaping Tomorrow’s Urban Agenda) were the most outstanding and those that make you value the congresses by the networking you can do.

But the meeting with members of FIABCI did not end with the congress of Andorra. Taking advantage of the fact that several members later went to Barcelona, on Tuesday 30 FIABCI Spain took the opportunity to organize a new InmoInter. In this, we were able to make a presentation on the real estate market in Spain to give a global vision to the outside attendees. We got assistants from all five continents.
